        Verdict

        King Of Tonga wasn’t helped by a high draw at Chester last time though still finished in front of stablemate Pacino and went close at Beverley before that. Reeves finished ahead of I Am A Dreamer when runner-up at York and can figure along with Doncaster second Brian Epstein, though the latter drops back down in trip. 6f winner Celebrity Dancer has something to prove over the distance and so does APLOMB but William Haggas’ charge finished strongly over 6f in soft ground at Ascot on last month’s handicap debut and should be thereabouts at the finish.
