Verdict

Las Verglas Star won over 5f here on his second start and ended last season with placed efforts at Leicester and Kempton. The grey should make his presence felt but there looks to be at least a couple in this with more scope. Good Boy Jackson was placed on all three starts on turf as a juvenile and should find a similar race soon but may have to give best to DELANEY'S DREAM on this occasion. Dandy Nicholls' Distant Music gelding hasn't got the best of draws but that didn't bother him at Catterick in November when overcoming trouble in running to beat Monsieur Jamie by a short head and this extra furlong can only help his cause. Chilledtothebone and the race-fit Eilean Mor may be best of the rest.
