It's a long time since OLDJOESAID got his head in front but Kevin Ryan's seven-year-old is extremely well-handicapped as a result and attracted notable market support on a couple of occasions last year in much better company. If returning anywhere near his best, Philip Makin's mount would make short work of these. Sharp Shoes has been in decent form on the all-weather but this looks too tough for him along with Northern Dare, who has been beaten in claimers recently. Mon Brav, Lesley's Choice and course specialist Highland Warrior all have decent draws and can't be discounted while Mandurah has fallen to a very attractive mark, though is probably better over 6f.
