Prepared is comfortably the highest rated here having finished a close fourth in a Listed contest on his last start on the track but that was back in 2012 and the long absence is an obvious concern. Sooth Al Ssalam has had 13 starts without winning but came closest so far when just touched off by Cry Joy over 1m2f a couple of weeks ago. He would have won at this trip but may have to settle for a place again behind stablemate YEAR OF GLORY. Satish Seemar's charge wasn't suited by dropping down to 6f at Jebel Ali and is better judged on his earlier narrow defeat by State Law over this track and trip, a race that has worked out well with the third having won twice subsequently. The two-year-old Mubtaahij will be Mike De Kock's first runner of the winter season so is one to keep an eye on.
