Azameera landed a double in the UK for Clive Cox during the summer and makes more appeal on his Dubai debut than dual Southwell winner Ana Emarati, who went close at Jebel Ali earlier this month. Fervent Prince was winning for the first time in over three years when scoring over a mile here last time but the handicapper has had his say and raised him 10lb. Stablemate Step In Line has produced a couple of better efforts at Jebel Ali recently and had AAMAAQ well behind when fourth on his latest start. However, that was the latter's first outing since January and, with a big improvement expected, the Al Raihe-trained gelding gets the speculative vote to bounce back to form here.
