        Verdict

        Haafaguinea ran very well in two starts here last year and was having just his second subsequent run when beating Mr Pommeroy a short-head a fortnight ago. He's 3lb higher but that shouldn't prevent another big run. ELLEVAL needed a couple of races to warm up before scoring here last year and though behind Haafaguinea last time it was his first run since September and he's taken to reverse the form and land this for Ireland. Pilote was a disappointing favourite last week but the Italian Oaks runner-up Scighera is an interesting contender for new connections. Mushreq looks the main threat after a pipe-opener behind True Story as he has very strong form on the track including a Group 2 victory. He's just preferred to stable companion Almoonquith, who landed a minor handicap a fortnight ago.
