        Verdict

        MIke De Kock is going for this in a big way and the progressive Forries Waltz would have been the selection after his victory here two weeks ago but for a poor draw. Stable-companion Ertijaal is a Group 1 winner in South Africa and would have an obvious chance despite not having had a run since May. Big Baz landed Listed contests at Newmarket and Kempton in the autumn and was only caught in the closing stages on his debut over this track and trip a couple of weeks ago. He had MUJAARIB, Limario and Zamaa just behind that day but the former had to be switched twice to get a run and was staying on so strongly that compensation awaits.
