ROSTRUM, a Listed winner in France last March, caught the eye on his debut here two weeks ago when staying on nicely behind Songcraft. That should have brought him on enough to earn the vote but the classy Summit Surge, who was a long way behind, may need another run as that was his first since November 2010. Bank Of Burden is a regular pattern race winner in Scandinavia but was well beaten on both starts here a year ago. Fallen Idol has only run in two handicaps, and won them both. He was a useful performer for John Gosden and looks just the type to do well in Dubai. Manjakani looks well enough handicapped though would prefer further but don't be surprised by big runs from Al Shemali, the shock winner of the 2010 Duty Free, who has slipped to a tempting mark and hails from a yard in flying form, and the returning Firebet, who was in fine form when last seen here in 2010.
