This track and trip are ideal for BARBECUE EDDIE who gained his third course success with a smooth victory over Ariete Arrollador two weeks ago. A 3lb rise doesn't look harsh and he can continue his trainer's superb start to the year. Captain Ramius, who led for a long way before weakening, will be much better for the run and looks sure to give a good account as does Lowther, also in the rear but whose stable have struck here twice already. As De Trebol is closely matched with Barbecue Eddie on their form here last year while African Story had some very strong form for Andre Fabre in France and should carry his big weight with distinction on his first start for Saeed Bin Suroor. Sweet Ducky had some decent form in the USA and is one to note on his debut for Herman Brown.
