This should go to Godolphin via NEW KINGDOM. A winner at Haydock in September, he was expected to make a successful reappearance in the trial for this but found another Godolphin entry, Island Falcon, too strong. That should have put him spot-on and he should again take care of Pjerrot, who was close behind but has since run poorly on Dirt in the Guineas, and fourth-placed Sed Maarib. Nations Pride was earmarked for this after victories at Lingfield and Chelmsford though it seems unlikely he'll have the class to beat his stablemate at this stage.
