The second division of this classic trial sees the return to action of Newmarket and York winner Tangled. He was beaten just a head in his only Polytrack start but may find Godolphin's MOQARRAB too good for him. A $400,000 yearling, he's a half-brother to a Dirt winner in the USA and his dam won on a similar surface so his easy victory at Wolverhampton in December should be the prelude to better things. Windsor winner Gotti made a promising start for new connections three weeks ago though will need to step up as will One Season, who made all to beat Hucklebuck a length over the track and trip last month.
