Most of these ran in what looked a very poor quality 1000 Guineas over a mile here. Nashmiah went into the race with a rating of just 85 after three victories in Saudi Arabia but defied odds of 40/1 to gain a narrow victory over Nomorerichblondes with Rajar a close third and COMPLIMENTI staying on into fourth. The winner should again take care of the two immediately behind her but the selection raced wide for much of the race and, though only closing slowly, will be better suited by this longer trip and is taken to reverse the form. Calare and Melesina had every chance and look held while Marco Botti's Magical Forest has shown nothing to warrant respect in a classic, even a poor one such as this.
