        Verdict

        Godolphin had the first two in this a year ago and are likely to have the two, and possibly three, at the head of the market here. Really Special looked just that when easily landing the 1000 Guineas Trial over this trip but everything went wrong for her in the classic and she could only finish fifth. Back over this trip, she could prove that run all wrong though she'll need to be at her very best to see off the attentions of FLY AT DAWN. Three times a winner in the UK, he looked a natural on this surface when beating Cosmo Charlie in the 2000 Guineas Trial last month with the selection's stable companion Top Score, who enhanced the form by beating Nobelium on Turf subsequently, well behind in third. The latter was making a belated recourse debut and was only beaten a nose conceding 2lb so there's every chance of him reversing that form and reaching the frame. Grey Britain is held on that run though John Ryan's grey was having his first start since September so should get closer.
