Mujaazef has run well here in the past but all six of his all-weather victories have come on Jebel Ali's Dirt track. Intransigent has won three times on Polytrack but has climbed the weights and may just need his first start on Tapeta. Merhee progressed from handicaps to land a pair of Group 2's in South Africa last year and has to be a threat to all despite a long absence. Jamesie has never won on the all-weather though he went close at Dundalk in October and had a run round here two weeks ago. Spirit Of Battle has run well here several times but has a long absence to overcome so this could rest between Masamah and RACY, who fought out a close finish in a tough Ascot handicap last summer with the latter's recent pipe-opener on the track possibly giving him the edge. Alraihjan has gained three easy victories in Saudi Arabia recently and Mikael Barzelona is an intriguing booking.
