        Verdict

        Doug Watson acquired SYNCOPATION from Mike De Kock and it paid immediate dividends when he won comfortably over a mile three weeks ago from today's rival Ticket Holder. He looks worth following while in form. His yard is also represented by Tobaco, who started favourite in that latter event but never threatened and finished mid-division. The latter was beaten a neck by Cachao here in March and there's little between them on these terms. Murrayfield looks dangerous after another good run here when he had Bochart and Pinter just behind. Muhtaram has run quite well over a mile the last twice and won't mind the drop in trip.
