Stable companion Beachcomber Bay was in fine form here and at Jebel Ali last winter though is very closely matched with Lytham St Annes after the latter beat him here in March. Doug Watson's charge also has the benefit of a recent run so should confirm the form. The stable also run My Catch, a Group 3 winner who should be better for his comeback three weeks ago and could provide the main threat though Pop The Hood ran his best race since arriving from the USA when second here last month.
