        Verdict

        There was plenty to like about PREPARED's easy victory over Sky Jockey in a maiden here two weeks ago and though this is very much tougher he is obviously suited by the Dirt track. He can continue his stable's fine run of form and complete a double. Enery and Marching Time occupied the minor berths behind Cross Grain in a handicap here two weeks ago and the former can confirm the form as Doug Watson's charge has never won on an artificial surface in 17 starts. Global City, Blessington and Active Spirit all ran behind Ajraam last time and the former in particular was noted staying on nicely from the rear but State Law is better over an extra furlong. Desert Wings scored for Godolphin at Kempton two years ago and started odds-on for his debut in January of last year but was well beaten. He makes his debut on the surface from a very lowly mark so is one to keep an eye on. Ghost Army won two minor handicaps here in the spring and is only 3lb higher for this slightly better event.
