SIR MAXIMILIAN ran well behind Etijaal on his return to action here a year ago then landed a similar class handicap to this. He's attempting to tread the same path after another very good run a fortnight ago and might be good enough. Medicean Man was behind him here a year ago but has an excellent record on the track though he may just need this. Maljaa was beaten four lengths by Sir Maximilian at Chester in May and is worse off at the weights. Paul Midgley had a winner here last week and Line Of Reason also ran really well behind Ertijaal as did Saayerr, who had some good form here a year ago. Krypton Factor has had a brilliant career highlighted by his victory under Kieren Fallon in the 2012 Golden Shaheen. He showed he was no back number when scoring at Jebel Ali on his final start in March and generally goes well without winning first time back. Dream Dubai made a successful debut for Sylvester Kirk in April and competed at a very high level subsequently so has to be on the shortlist now with Mike De Kock. George Baker does well here and Harry Hurricane had some very good form in tough handicaps culminating in a Class 2 victory at Haydock.
