        Verdict

        Charlie Appleby has three entries and BLAIR HOUSE looks certain to attract support again despite his second successive defeat at a short price last week. That looked a tough handicap and the winner, Leshlaa, may well turn out to be above average so he gets the nod to gain compensation. Godolphin also have Mountain Hunter engaged and he was very impressive when making all over 1m2f last month for which a 5lb rise looks fair. He had In the Lope in third, Azraff fifth, Proposed in seventh and the disappointing Mailshot and Bold Rex well beaten with only the former looking to have a chance of getting much closer. Kidmenever is another Godolphin entry with strong credentials who shouldn't be overlooked.
