Opal Tiara won this a year ago where she arrived in top form having finished second in a Group 2. This time she didn't get going in that same prep-run won by PROMISING RUN and will need to find major improvement. The winner was landing a Group 2 for the second successive year and did it in such style that a follow-up looks likely. She holds the third Aljuljalah on that run while Scandinavian challenger Icecapada was 10l behind. Furia Cruzada won a heat of the Group 2 Al Maktoum Challenge a year ago though that was on Dirt and she hasn't been as effective on Turf. Frankie rides the former Saudia Arabia-trained Tiaemah for Neil Bruss and she won a Group 2 in her native country by 9l last month.
