In depth

Verdict

Prizefighting has been beaten a total of just a length in his two recent runs here and looks certain to go well though he has a nasty habit of conjuring up defeat when winning looks certain. Stablemate Emirates Champion ran two fine races here last year when returning from a break and is a progressive type so it's a surprise to find Frankie on board the Qatar-based Logic Way, who looks to have enough weight. After a couple of moderate runs, MONTE ALTO bounced back last week with a cracking run behind Hunting Tower where he was only caught in the closing stages. He looks ready to win again and gets the vote though Halicarnassus is always a threat over the track and trip.
