The brilliant J J THE JET PLANE makes his Meydan debut on the back of probably his greatest victory to date in the Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Sprint in December. Mike De Kock's star, who has had a glittering career and has bigger fish to fry at the Carnival, has never raced on any surface but turf or dirt so this is a step into the unknown but he's a different class animal to these as he showed when beating the outstanding Rocket Man in Hong Kong. Alazeyab was in fine form at last year's Carnival and looked on the way back with an excellent second to Dynamic Blitz here a couple of weeks ago. Alo Pura scored twice here at the backend of last year and was unlucky in-running when narrowly beaten by Our Giant last month with Invincible Ash not far away. The latter improved to be beaten a short-head by Prohibit last week and both he and Alo Pura should go well. Silaah has scored at Southwell and Kempton recently so Tapeta should hold no terrors but a bigger threat may emerge in the shape of Green Beret, who has been in fine form here and at Jebel Ali.
