Cymric, a winner for John Gosden, made a winning start here a fortnight ago in a very tough handicap so deserves a crack at this grade. His stable companion Flash Fire has also been in winning form though was beaten over three lengths by Championship at this level last month. The winner was earlier just half-a-length behind LIGHT THE LIGHTS over an extra furlong and there's very little between the pair again though Mike De Kock's charge is 3lb better off and gets the nod. The latter's stable is also represented by Noah From Goa, a Group 1 winner in South Africa and having his first start for a year when behind Championship over 7f where he was staying on strongly at the finish. Gifted Master did very well for Hugo Palmer last summer, landing a Group 3 at Ascot and placed three times at this level.
