MUARRAB (NAP), who had a winning prep run before landing this last year, crowned a brilliant season by taking the Group 1 Golden Shaheen on World Cup night. He has a penalty to carry and is poorly drawn but should have few problems if near his best. Ghaamer is rated just 3lb below him and gets 5lb but he's not a sprinter and is best over 7f and beyond. He's also fared badly in the draw so will probably have to wait until the Carnival gets under way next month. My Catch is a genuine speed merchant who has won at this level though doesn't have the quality of the selection but Morawij could be a threat. He ran the race of his life when fourth in the Golden Shaheen and though never looking likely to catch the leading pair the pull in the weights, a recent run and a better draw suggests he should get much closer. United Color beat the latter just over a length in receipt of 3lb over 5f at Jebel Ali though the positions were later reversed. He's also very closely matched with Shaishee, who beat him less than a length in a Group 3 here in March of last year.
