Richard Mullen is first jockey to Satish Seemar so his choice of Voice Of The North, a close fourth behind stable companion Mufeed last month, suggests he's the pick over the newcomer Dawwass. Kahrab finished runner-up in that event but has had enough chances. Ahmad bin Harmash also runs a pair but Al Zeem will need to behave better than he did on opening night when he stayed in the stalls so Sabegg, a son of the Group 1-winning Dirt performer Girolamo, is likely to prove the better of them. Mike De Kock is having his first runner of the campaign with the Street Cry colt MAZEED, a half-brother to a Grade 3 winner in the USA, and he'll want to get off to a successful start so gets the nod. The Godolphin colt Capezzano never really got involved on his debut at York in August but will no doubt have come on a bundle for the experience. Cosmo Charlie's sire has been getting plenty of winners in his first season and champion trainer Doug Watson remains in excellent form.
