In depth

Verdict

Cat O'mountain made a successful debut on the track here a year ago and raced at a high level subsequently. He warmed up for another crack with a Group 3 victory at Dundalk in October and should make a bold bid. Godolphin also run Think Ahead, a winner at Salisbury in September but beaten on his only all-weather start, Flag War, who scored twice at Wolverhampton and once at Chelmsford in three unbeaten all-weather runs, and Good Contact, who makes his debut on an artificial surface. Farrier was placed in strong company at this time a year ago and made a successful return at Jebel Ali before runner-up in a Listed contest here last month but HUNTING GROUND looks the one to be on. He made an impressive debut on the track a year ago and was having his first subsequent run when a close third to One Man Band in a track record time here last week.
