BAROOT won over 1m1f here in January but has the pace for this as he showed last time when he led until collared by Tobaco over a mile. He can regain the winning thread though Tamaathul looks a big threat as he appeared back to something like his best when staying on strongly over the minimum trip last week. Conquerant's only career victory to date came at Catterick but he's gone close here and looks on a fair mark. Godrevy and Ticket Holder are imports from the USA who will probably need more time while Denzille Lane is having his first start on the surface though he did win four races for Mark Johnston including at Southwell. Day Of Conquest has been well beaten on the surface here and at Jebel Ali.
