ALAREEF won a stronger handicap than this over 7f here in January then didn't appear to last out an extra furlong last month and can return to winning ways. Mutahaddith has won two handicap over the course and distance this winter and wasn't at his best when only fourth last time so he should be thereabouts. Milton won a minor event in the USA last August and makes his debut here as does Docket, who scored at Tampa Bay Downs last January but hasn't run for a year. It's over three years since Forevertheoptimist won a race and he's changed stables but Glenleven could go well as he's had just two runs following a very long absence and showed up well for a long way last month.
