        Verdict

        Godolphin have the three highest-rated horses in the line-up. The 2016 Eclipse winner Hawkbill is top after victories at Group 3 and 2 level last season with three placed efforts at the highest level to his credit. He had stable companion Frontiersman just behind when landing the Princess Of Wales's at Newmarket but the runner-up comes here with a spin at Wolverhampton behind him. He finished 6l behind BEST SOLUTION in the St Simon Stakes at Newbury in October and the winner arrives in top form having easily won a handicap last month. He'll need to come wide from his outside berth but his race-sharpness can help him to another success. Called To The Bar has the scope to be better than them all having ended a quiet campaign with a second place in the Belmont Derby though that was in July and he may just need this. The consistent Earnshaw will be staying on late as usual and may snatch a place.
