        Verdict

        Last year's placed horses, Special Fighter and Furia Cruzada, have another crack though the winner was only rated 106 and this looks a much better renewal. THUNDER SNOW (NAP), who landed the UAE Derby on World Cup night and the Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly in July, made hard work of beating North America and Heavy Metal in Round 2 of this a month ago but got on top in the closing stages after the runner-up set a slow early pace. With a stronger gallop almost certain he should show his quality and take this as though Boynton looked impressive when landing a handicap last time he's tackling much better opposition and will have to come around the wide outside. Second Summer was well beaten in this last year but peaked in the Godolphin Mile and should be nearing his best.
