Gilt Complex is a high-class performer in Singapore winning two local Group 1's last summer though he's never raced away from Kranji in 27 starts. Mike De Kock has made an unusually slow start to the Carnival and Sanshaawes is his only runner today. He won a similar race here a year ago before racing in better company and his two recent runs will have brought him to concert pitch. EARNSHAW will be running on at the finish, as he usually is, and will be better suited by today's extra furlong after two runs in Group 3 company over shorter. He's a frustrating type but should give supporters a good run at a fair price so gets the nod. Godolphin have an outstanding opportunity to take this with five entries. Blair House only just failed to catch the useful Light The Lights over track and trip a fortnight ago and has surprisingly only been raised 1lb . However, the owner's Leshlaa ran well in third and will improve while Banksea produced a very good first run here behind Mountain Hunter and is another in the same ownership who can get into the action. David O'Meara's Primero is one to note for future races but may get trapped on the outside.
