Tangled won the lucrative Goffs Premier Sales race at York and was only narrowly beaten in the Horris Hill at Newbury. He came here for a prep run on Dirt last month but obviously wasn't suited and finished a long way last. He'll do much better back on Turf though this should go to ZAMAN. A winner at York and Pontefract, he was only beaten just over a length behind Gustav Klimt in the Group 2 Superlative at Newmarket before ending his campaign finishing second in the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood. He should have too much quality for another Godolphin entry Racing Country, though he'll have a fitness advantage after a fine debut here last month. Roland Rocks was a long way behind the selection at Goodwood but it's difficult to know what to make of the Australian-based maiden winner Mutamayel, who has extra to carry as he's southern hemisphere-bred.
