Doublet is still officially a two-year-old and completed an Epsom double for Mark Johnston in the summer. He's taking on much older rivals and making his all-weather debut here and looks to have a stiff task. Arroway is another juvenile but Royston French steered him to a comfortable debut victory at Jebel Ali, though that was over the minimum trip. The remaining two-year-old in the line-up, Wasim, made a successful debut at Doncaster in July and ended the campaign with a decent run at Ascot but the vote in a tricky contest goes to MOOSIR. Doug Watson's charge gained his second victory on the track when making all over the trip a fortnight ago and should have nothing to fear from runner-up Always Welcome.
