Maltese Cat loves it around here and though his victories usually come at a slightly lower level he goes well fresh and can get into the frame. He had Mooqtar over five lengths back in second at Al Ain a year ago and should confirm the form. MARCHING TIME doesn't win often these days but reappeared here last season with a couple of placed efforts in stronger company than this and Doug Watson should have him revved up for another crack. UAE champion jockey Richard Mullen was on board when Cross Grain won the opening maiden here a year ago but his mount only ran twice subsequently and hasn't been seen since New Year's Eve though he'd be a big threat if ready. Young jockey Saeed Al Mazrooei is well worth his claim but his mount Al Farahidi has yet to prove he acts on Dirt.
