In depth
Verdict
Upper Class had some smart form in South America but has taken a long time to warm up in the UAE. Vasari made a winning reappearance a year ago as did Nibraas at Jebel Ali and the latter only had one subsequent start. Batraan won three sprints for Roger Varian including two on the all-weather while Dukedom was a Leicester maiden winner for the Gosdens in July having been narrowly beaten on Polytrack at Chelmsford. MIQYAAS was returning from a year off when winning easily here in 2020 then had another long break before returning with a close second in February. He obviously goes well fresh so gets the nod.
