Perfect Balance won a non-carnival handicap in February and is just 2lb higher though was well beaten in subsequent starts. QUIET ENDEAVOUR ended last season with a victory at Al Ain having produced a couple of big runs here in December and looks the one to beat. Royal Sands, a winner at Southwell for James Given, goes well fresh so a long absence shouldn't pose a problem while Tahdeed won here in January and wasn't disgraced in his only subsequent start.
