The first race to be run on the Turf track this season and Doug Watson is mob-handed with four entries. Tried And True is 5lb better off with stable companion OSTAAD (NAP) for a beating of a length over 1m1f here in February but the winner always looked to be going the better and arrives on the back of a couple of very good runs on Turf at Abu Dhabi so he can take this under Jim Crowley. Grand Argentier is another from the yard though he's done better on the Dirt surface here, a remark that also applies to Trinity Force. The lightly-raced Mr Khalid, a dual winner for Roger Charlton, needed his reappearance at Abu Dhabi and is expected to do much better. Janszoon, a winner on Lingfield's Turf track for Godolphin, caught the eye on his debut here in November and looks on a workable mark.
