City Dreamer had been a little disappointing before winning at Plumpton so it’s no surprise that Wayne Hutchinson has chosen less-exposed stablemate Amadeus Rox, beaten under a length on his hurdles bow at Newton Abbot when Phoenix Dawn was behind. Eragon De Chanay won in France in March but has his first run for Gary Moore under a sizeable penalty. Worcester second Ortenzia has the beating of City Dreamer on collateral form but we’ll take a chance that there’s more to come from GLORVINA. She had only three rivals at Cartmel but was always travelling best and won on soft going on the Flat.
