A tough one to call here for the most valuable race of the day, but Bodfari Creek is in such great form that he cannot be opposed, with Baloo and Lorenzino the ones to complete the frame. Bodfari Creek has been a big improver in recent runs on fast ground, winning twice at Worcester over this trip, the second of those by a distance, before finishing five lengths ahead of Sparkling Water at Folkestone last time. With the promise of more to come and a nice racing weight here, he can score again and complete a four-timer. Jimmy Frost-trained Baloo came good last time out over 3m 3f at Newton Abbot, beating Dynamic Lifter by a length and a half and with his favoured fast ground to run on here he looks a real danger to the selection in receipt of 5lb. He is not ruled out lightly, but gives the impression that extreme distances are what he needs, so a place may well be his reward here. Of the remainder, Lorenzino is reunited with A P McCoy here. When Jonjo O'Neill and McCoy combine it is always worth noting, but after some awful form of late, even a slightly more encouraging run from the gelding last time has not done enough to attract out vote here, and the trainer-jockey combination will have to excel themselves to produce the magic in this race, so Bodfari Creek gets the thumbs-up to keep on winning.
