This is easily the best juvenile hurdle of the season so far. Town Mouse had Kitchapoly and Double Jeopardy behind when successful at Huntingdon but now has a penalty to contend with. Hi Candy also beat Kitchapoly last time, at Cartmel, while Fox Norton has his first start for Nick Williams having won in the French provinces in the spring. A number of the newcomers will be expected to win races over the coming months, however, including Couloir Extreme who won twice on the Flat at Windsor in June, though Duroble Man gave the latter 6lb and a beating over 1m2f at Brighton earlier. Jubilee Games won twice as a juvenile but will have his stamina to prove over 2m and ROYAL IRISH HUSSAR has joined a leading NH yard having had just three starts for Ballydoyle. He won over 1m6f at Killarney in July and looks the type to run up a sequence at this level.
