RIVER DRAGON has twice finished runner-up over course and distance so is an obvious place to start but recourse to the market will be essential in assessing this contest. Denis O'Regan is an interesting booking for the Flat bred Bold Warning whilst Take The Profit is another bred for the summer game that warrants attention but neither yard has a track record of success in this sphere. Irish point winner Dontupsettherhythm is another to bear in mind whilst Teals Star and Big Knickers have shown a glimpse of promise but perhaps the biggest challenge may come from Pontyates who may be able to improve on the form he's shown thus far as long as the ground doesn't become too testing.
