This is a competitive event in which Fiery Peace is taken to score at the main expense of Lagosta, Salinas and Burnt Copper. The selection is a course and distance winner who reverts to hurdling after a spell over the bigger obstacles. He will relish this fast surface and he looks the one to beat on the pick of his hurdling form. Lagosta ran well when a good second behind Basinet at Cartmel but he is beginning to look exposed and for that reason we will take him on. Salinas ran well in a competitive event when fifth behind Galey River at Stratford last time and in this slightly easier race he is entitled to go well. Burnt Copper has shown a fair level of form and has the services of AP McCoy, but he will need to improve to trouble the principles and for the winner we return to Fiery Peace.
