A fascinating renewal which sees Cernunnos bidding to overturn Southwell running with Ballykan and Presenting Arms on better terms. Peter Bowen's chasers are always worth a second look here and easy Cartmel winner Wadswick Court is no exception. Fox Appeal has a touch of class but lacks a recent run whereas Father Edward and Croco Bay are recent winners, though upped in the weights. Princeton Royale faces a stiff task for a novice and neither Roman Flight nor Anteros make much appeal in this grade but Seefood was highly tried last season and is respected. VINTAGE VINNIE (NAP) still has time on his side and looks thrown in on his return to chasing. He sauntered clear in a novice hurdle at Worcester on his reappearance and that will have blown away any cobwebs.
