In depth

Verdict

Martila has been racing in better company and is back on the same mark as when successful in a Class 2 handicap at Ayr a year ago. Keep The River landed a maiden on the latter track last month and makes her handicap debut from what may prove a lenient mark while HILLCREST FIRE (NAP) was only headed at the last in a much better race than this at Cheltenham in April and a couple of recent runs on the Flat will have put her straight. She looks the one to beat as Queen Of The Wind ran very poorly at Ludlow in April after landing a Class 5 Southwell handicap and will need much more here.
