Verdict

Forever Field beat Black Corton at Worcester a year ago but lost his way in the autumn and is returning from a break. Seefood hasn’t raced since falling in the 2017 Topham at Aintree but fitness is rarely an issue for one from his yard and he’s potentially well handicapped. A case can be made for Amore Alato but SUMKINDOFKINGstill has plenty of scope over fences and may be capable of improving past Marquis Of Carabas, who had Diable De Sivola behind when fourth at Worcester last month, and Kelso scorer Ballyvic Boru. Shady Glen and Brave Spartacus both go well here but Lithic showed signs of temperament last time.
