Pour La Victoire has been thereabouts over shorter trips since winning at Brighton in April and Lunar Deity has a shout on a recent second at Yarmouth. Slow To Hand went close at the latter track before struggling over 7f behind Gulland Rock but the latter has subsequently been well beaten at Brighton. King of Dreams is another usually in the mix at this level but a chance is taken on last year’s winner TRULEE SCRUMPTIOUS bouncing back to form. She had little chance attempting to make all in a tough handicap here on her return but that was her first start since last summer and Henry Spiller’s mare should be sharper today.
