Mighty Fine, Megaton and Michaels Dream are the trio focus on here, with Mighty Fine, in terrific winning form just now, set to continue on winning ways in his toughest start to date. After a good second at Uttoxeter, Michaels Dream scored next time at Cartmel, staying on well to confirm his superiority. He looks set to run his normal race, but a seven pound rise in his rating could limit him to hitting the frame. Megaton¿s last handicap hurdle success came off a ten pound lower mark than he races off here, but he has won twice over hurdles since, and won a stayers¿ handicap on the Flat. He is well treated, comes here fit, and looks sure to run a big race and is only just passed over. The handicapper seems to have taken umbrage at Mighty Fine¿s latest success, his fifth consecutive success in completed starts, raising him an incredible 24 pounds. However, such has been the manner of his victories, and the way he has simply galloped his rivals into the ground, he looks the type who should be followed until beaten. Mighty Fine is full of confidence at the moment, and with the able assistance of the champion jockey, he is the one to beat.
