A field large in numbers but low in quality and on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and it looks a straight forward opportunity for Figaro Du Rocher. The gelding from the Martin Pipe yard won well in his native France on his debut he is sure to have been well schooled and he will be hard to beat if he handles this much faster ground. Blue Venture showed very little on the flat but he is from a yard that does well with its small string in this sphere so is worth noting in the market. Lucky Leo showed a modicum of ability on the flat over a mile and if he stays the trip he would have definite place claims. Of the remainder Creed is from a top yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
