Loita Hills is the selection in this modest affair with Gold Again and Stagecoach Amber respected. The selection ran up against a useful horse in Seymar Lad last time out and while he probably isn't as good over fences as his hurdling form suggested, with makeweight opposition, he won't get too many easier opportunities than this. Gold Again has been backed on a number of occasions in the past but his chances have been severely compromised by the imposition of the owner's son in the saddle. With a new owner and Josh Guerriero aboard, a change in fortunes seems probable. Stagecoach Amber put up a below par run at Sedgefield in April. It is hoped that better ground equals a better performance. Malt De Vergy has no excuses about trip or going and is exposed as ordinary. Banchory Two has lost his way badly having rated well into three figures a couple of seasons ago. Panthers Run seems to need further these days but has made a habit of hitting the frame at long odds. Hardybuck has shown little since leaving Nigel Twiston-Davies. Champagne Rossini has at least placed on a faster surface. Loita Hills is the pick in a race that lacks quality.
