In depth

Verdict

CAPTAIN CHAOS had his limitations exposed in the Towton at Wetherby at the start of the month but had beaten small fields at Aintree and Wetherby before that and should have too much class for these if the tricky fences don’t catch him out. Ozzy Thomas has improved for the step up in trip but would have been getting 7lb in a handicap and prefers a quicker surface. Militarian has a point-to-point background so the switch to fences should bring about some improvement and he is readily preferred to The Society Man and Trust Me I'm A Dr.
